JJ’s Removal Services

Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions
• “Company” refers to JJ’s Removal Services.
• “Client” refers to the individual or entity hiring the Company’s services.
• “Services” means the removal and related services agreed upon in the booking confirmation.

2. Booking and Payment
2.1. A non-refundable deposit of the total quoted price is required at the time of booking to secure the date and services.
2.2. The remaining balance is payable on completion of the move.
2.3. Payment methods accepted include: bank transfer or cash.

3. Cancellations and Refunds
3.1. If the Client cancels the booking, the deposit will not be refunded under any circumstances.
3.2. If the Company cancels the service due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of all payments made, including the deposit, will be issued.

4. Rescheduling
4.1. Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.
4.2. If the new date is unavailable or the Client fails to confirm a new date within 48 hours, the booking will be treated as a cancellation.

5. Services Provided
5.1. The Company will perform removal services as agreed in writing.
5.2. Any changes to the agreed scope (e.g., additional items,) may incur additional charges.
5.3. The Company is not responsible for items not disclosed at the time of booking.

6. Client Responsibilities
6.1. The Client must ensure all items are packed and ready for removal unless packing services have been included.
6.2. The Client must provide access to the property and parking for the vehicle(s).
6.3. The Company will not be liable for delays caused by access issues or other circumstances outside its control.

7. Liability and Insurance
7.1. The Company is insured for public liability and goods in transit.
7.2. The Client must report any loss or damage within 48 hours of completion of the service.
7.3. The Company will not be liable for damage to items packed by the Client unless due to negligence by the Company.

8. Force Majeure
The Company is not liable for any failure to perform due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, traffic delays, strikes, or government restrictions.

9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
